When the cold weather hits, it’s time to pull out the soup pot and make some delicious soup.

I thought I’d share a nice selection of warm, delicious, hearty, cozy, comfort in a bowl recipes today. You know, in case you have rain and chilly temps in the forecast.

These delicious soups are all gluten free and vegan, and they all look amazing! I know what I’ll be making during the long winter months.

What are some good grains to use in gluten free vegan soups?

There are many grains that are gluten free, including:

  • quinoa
  • white rice
  • brown rice
  • wild rice
  • millet
  • gluten free pasta

What type of broth should I use in these soup recipes?

There are many different brands of vegetable broth and stock available. Just be sure to read the label and make sure that it’s certified gluten free, and that there aren’t any hidden non-vegan ingredients inside. As always, if you aren’t sure about a particular brand, be sure to call and ask if it’s safe for your particular dietary needs.
